Olga Robinson is a senior journalist at BBC Monitoring (BBCM). Her department is a specialist unit within BBC News that tracks thousands of international media outlets, including hard-to-reach sources to report news from and about the world’s media. Before moving to London in 2017, Olga led the BBCM team in the BBC’s Moscow bureau.
She has been focusing on media manipulation since the Ukrainian crisis and is now part of BBCM’s own disinformation team. Recently, Olga prepared a report on the malicious use of social media by hostile actors across the globe for the NATO Strategic Communications Centre of Excellence and co-authored a Report of Anti-Disinformation Initiatives for the Oxford Internet Institute.
